Shareware Fee
=============
The shareware fee for OzTeX is:
Inside Australia: $30 for an individual or $300 for a group.
Outside Australia: US$30 for an individual or US$300 for a group
(I'm happy to accept equivalent amounts in any other currency).
The fee is a one-time-only payment covering ALL future versions of OzTeX.
The group fee covers all individual members of a company, university, etc.
Everybody mentioned in the "Thanks" help file is exempt from payment.
The easiest way to pay the fee, especially for people outside Australia,
is to use the supplied Register program. It allows payment by many
different methods, including all major credit cards.
You can also pay over the web using Kagi's order processing system.
Just follow the link at OzTeX's web page:
<http://www.kagi.com/authors/akt/oztex.html>
If you don't want to use Register or the web then payment can be made
by posting a bank cheque, international money order, or cash to:
Andrew Trevorrow
30 Douglas St.
Rosanna 3084
Australia
Unlike some shareware authors, I do not believe you are under any legal
obligation to pay the shareware fee. However, if you get a copy of OzTeX
to try out and decide to keep it then there is a moral obligation to pay!
I maintain a list of registered users and groups. Apart from the moral
satisfaction, there are other benefits of being a registered user:
- If you write me a letter or send me some e-mail (akt@kagi.com) then
you will get a reply. I will try to solve all OzTeX-related problems.
- The more people who pay the fee the more likely I am to make further
improvements to OzTeX.
All versions of OzTeX earlier than 1.5 remain freeware.

Registered Groups
=================
The following organizations have paid the OzTeX group fee.
Current staff and students of the listed universities and departments
are thus registered OzTeX users, as are all current individual members
of the listed TeX user groups.
